CRIMINALS:-"YOU CAN'T RUN AND YOU CANT HIDE': Fashola installs CCTV cameras all over Lagos .

The Lagos State governor, Babatunde Fashola Monday said that the state has activated about 1,200 surveillance cameras in strategic places across the Lagos metropolis.  He said the state government intends to deploy another 1000 units to the streets for effective surveillance of the state and that the existing camera and telephony infrastructure has the capacity to carry 100,000 subscribers.
He added that the state has built a video wall for live feeds for effective monitoring of all the cameras and that the state has purchased 10,000 additional handsets for use by police RRS, LASTMA, Ambulance and Fire Service.

So no hiding place for criminals in lagos..
