'My experience will help Eagles' - Nigeria captain Joseph Yobo
Nigeria captain Joseph Yobo says he has nothing to prove to anyone but himself.
Yobo is six appearances away from being Nigeria’s first 100-cap player, but his recall to the squad has been met with some scepticism from certain fans.
But Yobo, 32, told KickOffNigeria.com that he was not out to impress anyone but himself.
“I am a professional. I have been playing for a while and right now, I don’t have anything to prove to anyone but myself,” he said.
“I am my own competition, and if there is anyone I have anything to prove go, it is myself and the coach, who has put his confidence in me.
