KIDNAPPED GIRLS:- Not all of them are among the chibok abducted...CNN

There were reports in CNN this evening that the girls shown in the 27minute video just released by boko Haram are not all from the 200+ chibok girls that were kidnapped a month ago. As families tried to identify their daughters, some families actually saw some of their long missing children....and this has fuelled speculations that Boko Haram have been kidnapping girls for about two years now.

But in a bid to refute such claims from villagers, the governor of Borno state revealed that The female hostages shown in a video released by Boko Haram have been identified as students of the secondary school attacked by the Islamists on April 14.

“All the girls in that video were identified to be students of the Government Girls Secondary School, Chibok,” said northeastern Borno state’s Governor Kashim Shettima.

Shettima, who spoke in Abuja, had organised a viewing of the video for the Chibok community.
