'WHO WANTS TO BE A MILLIONAIRE' COMES TO AN END!!! IN UK

The UK version of who wants to be a millionaire came to an end yesterday on ITV1.
The global syndicate show has been airing for about 16 years now.

The series has been axed by ITV, although for many years its place in the schedule had been reduced to occasional screenings - largely with well-known faces teaming up to answer questions for charity as was the case of the final episode last night.
The presenter, chris Tarrant, brought the series to an end with a low key finale in which he was presented with a bouquet of flowers as he said farewell to the audience and thanked them for their support

Since launching in September 2008, the form has launched around the globe including Nigeria hosted by Frank Edoho for Mtn and optima studios,  becoming one of the most successful programmes in the world.

A special programme looking back at its outstanding moments will be screened next Tuesday on ITV.
                   'I've loved every minute.'
