LAW SUIT AGAINST RICK ROSS DROPPED AFTER HE FAILED TO PERFORM IN NIGERIA

Rapper Rick Ross has just agreed to settle out of court (to the tune of $2 million) for bailing out on a Nigerian concert in 2011.

According to paperwork (filed in 2012) a British firm paid Rick Ross $87,500 to both promote and
perform at the star mega jam, an annual Nigerian concert event that rakes in 50,000 fans minimum.

But Rick Ross failed to carry out the terms of the agreement when he cancelled and refused to perform, citing “the violent events in Nigeria” as the reasons he wouldn't be performing at the show in December 2011.

Ross also didn’t return the cash deposit the company made to him, and they had to sue him for it. The company then sued the rapper for more than $2 million in damages for the cancelled performance.

Recent court documents filed on the 30th of January indicate that the case has been dismissed and Rick Ross and Zons P.R. have reached a settlement over the dispute.
