Who calls his daughter a name which when translated means a child from a god or deity.
Seun Kuti, son of late Afro-beat king, Fela Anikulapo-Kuti, has been widely criticized for the perceived ‘odd’ naming of his newly- born daughter.
According to reports, the newest entrant into the Kuti dynasty was christened ‘Ifafunmike’ which means “A child gotten from a deity”.
This action has not gone down well with many of his fans. A fan who pleaded anonymity, opined that what Seun did is an indication that there is more to it than meets the eye. Hence they are all calling out to him to tell them the inspiration behind the name. After all every name has got a reason behind it.
